Your 5 step guide to meet a happier you


7 billion people on this Earth and not a single one can deny their desire to be happy. Every person has different things on their priority lists (that keep on changing), just because of one reason – they seek happiness.

Do you know what is much better than being a seeker of happiness?

Become a magnet for happiness!

Stop searching for happiness when you can simply attract it. As Dalai Lama once said, “Happiness comes from your own actions”, you need to act to achieve the state of utter happiness.

This 5 step action plan is easy to follow yet supper effective at the same time. So, continue only if you are an action taker, and truly want to be happy.


#1 Embrace your flaws

You are not perfect – accept this! This will remove a large portion of your frustrations. You will also be able to shift your focus to progress from perfection, thus, becoming unstoppable. The goals you want to achieve will become reachable as you won’t self-sabotage yourself.



#2 You are enough 

We all think we can be better than we are. However, that doesn’t change the fact that you are doing your best. You might have not achieved your dreams yet, but you are getting closer to them every single day, with your full strength.


#3 Enlighten yourself 

Most of your struggles arise when you are confused between what you want and what you need. Thus, you end up burning out for things that aren’t necessary. Understanding what you need is a skill, which you must develop if you wish to achieve important goals.

#4 Show appreciation 

There are a few things that increase by sharing. Fortunately, happiness is one of them. 

Liked your co-worker’s ethics? Or the poem you have read on Instagram? Tell them. Appreciate their efforts, be the reason for their smile. Make others happy (when it isn’t hurting you) and the universe will make you happier.



#5 Become a reader

Reading is an experience that fills you with possibilities and allows you to live whoever's life you want. Be it the adventures of Alice or the voyage of Gulliver's Travel. Reading isn't only an entertaining activity but it also helps you understand yourself better, providing you the much-needed clarity.

Conclusion

To build a palace, you have to keep one brick at a time. It is as simple and as difficult as that. Take one step at a time, as happiness can't be brought from a shopping mall.
